sea scallop ceviche with summer vegetables: $11.65
melt-in-your-mouth goodness. nice, big chunks of sea scallops, yellow and green beans, pickled red peppers, some kind of root vegetable i couldn't identify, but was crispy and kraut-like, all of it in a citrus and fennel sauce; the bread-half was fresh and buttery; the toffee mousse was good, but a shocking contrast to the sharp and citrus of the ceviche.

four slabs of roast beast, rich and savory polenta, two pieces of vinaigrette-sprinkled lettuce and a decent looking piece of tomato that was unfortunately wasted on me as a salad, and a chocolate custard. (wasn't so impressed with the custard. it was good, but a little watery.) $11.65
